The benefits of therapeutic writing sessions
I work primarily with adults to provide a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space to foster creativity and aid relaxation. Many of my clients have chronic fatigue, anxiety, and stress, and enjoy the luxury of a calm and relaxing moment just for themselves.
As an experienced journalist, I offer clients the opportunity to get creative with their words, alongside calming wellbeing techniques. Sessions include journaling, writing prompts, monthly seasonal themes, and creative writing activities. We will also use therapeutic art techniques such as drawing our emotions as colours, creating a collage, mindful drawing, and so much more. Sessions can include a complimentary holistic Reiki treatment for further grounding and relaxational benefits if desired.
Nothing is set in stone, and you lead the way. You do not need to be a writer or an artist; the focus is on complete relaxation, not the work produced.

I provide therapeutic writing and coaching sessions at my Somerset-based home studio which is located a stone’s throw from Burnham-on-Sea’s town center and the seafront.
Sessions are wellbeing and holistic-focused and may assist with anxiety, chronic fatigue, autoimmune illnesses, low confidence, stress, and much more.
My therapeutic writing sessions can even be an enriching social activity for elderly individuals who enjoy art, creativity, writing, journaling and reminiscing on times gone by.
Arrange a dedicated 1-1 session or book with a friend or family member. Sessions are flexible, and we can work to your preferences every step of the way to create the perfect relaxing and therapeutic experience. Available in person or online via video conferencing.

Holistic Treatments
enhance your sessions with calming and relaxational reiki from a fully qualified level 2 practitioner.
For those looking to create the ultimate relaxing session, I can add a relaxing Reiki treatment to your appointment or arrange a dedicated session. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation performed seated or laying (fully clothed with the exception of shoes) on a cosy massage couch. It can be performed as a hands-on or non-physical touch treatment.
Reiki can be beneficial for chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, stress and much more. It promotes relaxation and reduces stress, aiding in pain management, and supporting the body’s natural healing processes. People use it to help with issues such as anxiety, depression, fatigue, grief, and emotional trauma, and to improve sleep quality. This makes a wonderfully relaxing way to start your calming therapeutic writing session. Reiki is a holistic treatment, but if you have underlying health conditions, please check with your GP before our session.
