I work intuitively to offer a personal 1-1 approach to holistic wellbeing and journalism. My client list is kept exclusive and small-scale for this very reason. You are not just another number in a world that doesn’t value you, and your time with me will not be rushed.

About me
Hi, I’m Becky. Along with my work in the journalism field, I am a certified STILL Method Emotional Regulation and Therapeutic Art Coach, and a Level 2 Reiki practitioner, with ACCPH + IPHM-accredited training and up-to-date DBS.
What do I do? I am not a therapist, and I am not here to diagnose or analyse you. I am a respected national journalist and a qualified Reiki practitioner with accredited emotional regulation, therapeutic art, and trauma-informed training. With me, you will find a calm, supportive, safe space to relax and regulate. I am proud to possess a deep understanding of the role that our emotional and nervous system plays in the body’s response to stress, as well as our ability to relax, regulate, and calm.
I am passionate about the positive effects of Reiki and journaling on our emotional and nervous systems, and am constantly developing my knowledge in this area to ensure my clients receive the best experience. I also carry this ethos into my corporate work, evoking a sense of calm and clarity in all situations.

I provide private, 1-1 wellness journaling workshops in Burnham-on-Sea, just a stone’s throw from the town center and the seafront. My calming, supportive sessions embrace the benefits of writing and creativity for holistic wellbeing.

Journalism and writing are a huge part of my life, so sessions with me naturally lean into how we can use writing and creativity to support our inner calm and well-being. This may be beneficial for anyone navigating the effects of stress, anxiety, chronic fatigue, menopause, sleep issues and more. My uniquely developed journaling workshops also make excellent workplace and teambuilding events.

You can expect them to include journaling, writing prompts, seasonal themes, poetry, creative writing, social stories, and more. These can all be integrated with The STILL Method therapeutic art and emotional regulation techniques, for which I am a fully trained practitioner.
You do not need to be a writer or an artist to take part. The focus is always on finding inner calm and relaxation, not the work produced.
‘Reiki & Regulate‘ Explore my Signature Emotional Regulation Informed Reiki Treatments
Keen to find calm and clarity? I can arrange one of my ‘Reiki & Regulate’ sessions. Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation, performed seated or lying down fully clothed with the exception of shoes. Reiki can be a hands-on or non-physical touch treatment.
My trauma-informed emotional regulation practitioner training helps provide clients with a safe and calm space to switch off from today’s busy world and all treatments are designed with emotional regulation in mind. Reiki aids relaxation and emotional regulation by activating our Parasympathetic Response and promoting the “rest and restore” state, counteracting chronic stress. It is also beneficial for co-regulation.
Reiki is considered a complementary holistic treatment, but if you have serious underlying health conditions, please check with your GP before our session.
