I recently signed as a contributor to One Music Magazine and will be providing print copy in the form of articles, features and reviews. You can read my first feature on Paramore and their new album in issue #2!

There have been a couple of little changes in my representation lately. Although I’m still very much with the fabulous Juliet Mushens, Juliet has recently moved agencies, taking some of her  ‘team Mushens’ clients with her. Yours truly included. So I’m now no longer with PFD and am instead a client of The Agency Group.

The Agency Group have an amazing client list. It is packed with seriously big names from the world of writing, entertainment and music in particular. I am going to resist pasting the whole thing as it would probably take up this entire blog post and also make little old me feel very inferior in comparison!

I’m always fascinated by original marketing ideas and cool PR stunts. A while back my attention was grabbed by this fantastic edible poster from Anna Garforth an experimental artist with a strong eye for amazing typography and seriously awesome marketing materials.

She has worked on several high profile advertising campaigns and some really fun projects that show off just how capable an artist she is and her willingness to think outside the box.

In mid 2011 I wrote a Paris travel feature as a top long weekend holiday destination. I was lucky enough to secure accommodation and a personal invite to the Moulin Rouge for this feature (along with my family) and as well as making for a great read, it was also an experience that I will cherish forever.
